TERMS AND CONDITIONS
Introduction and information
1. Information on how to enter the “Wattie’s Pantry Payout - Draw Promotion” (the Promotion); claim any prize; the prize, forms part of these terms and conditions (the Terms & Conditions). Participating in the Promotion by any means (including but not limited to) by entering or attempting to enter; claiming or attempting to claim any prize, is deemed acceptance of the Terms & Conditions.
2. The promoter is Heinz Wattie’s Limited, 513 King Street North, Hastings 4122, New Zealand (the Promoter, Wattie’s or us) and its agents.
Eligibility
3. Entry is open to New Zealand business customers who are involved in the end-user food service industry (i.e. a business or organisation that serves food to the general public, either at a restaurant, café, caterer, club, pub, aged care facility, hospital or education facility, or business or organisation of a similar kind), excluding “Ineligible Customers” (Customers or Entrants). Ineligible Customers means the Promoter’s resellers, distributors, wholesalers, suppliers, contract customers, caterers or operators with exclusive supply agreements, government and statutory bodies or authorities, quick service restaurant chains (e.g. McDonalds, Hungry Jacks, KFC, Oporto, Dominos, Pizza Hut, and Subway) as reasonably determined by the Promoter, and any organisation that does not permit its organisation to participate in promotions that are the same or similar to this Promotion. Individuals (i.e., authorised representatives) entering on behalf of the Entrant must be New Zealand residents aged 18 years or over.
4. Directors, management and employees (and their immediate family members) of the Promoter, its related companies and agencies associated with the conduct of the Promotion are ineligible to enter. “Immediate family members” means any of the following: spouse, ex-spouse, de-facto spouse, child or step-child (whether natural or by adoption), parent, step-parent, grandparent, step-grandparent, uncle, aunt, niece, nephew, brother, sister, step-brother, step-sister or first cousin.
Promotional & Entry Period
5. Promotion commences at 12:01am New Zealand Daylight Savings Time (NZDST) on 13/10/2025 and closes at 11:59 pm NZDST on 7/12/2025 (Promotional Period). The entry period commences 12.01 am NZDST 13/10/2025 and closes at 11.59 pm NZDST on 12/12/2025 (Entry Period). All times and dates specified throughout these Terms and Conditions will be based on New Zealand Standard Time or New Zealand Daylight Savings Time (as and when applicable).
Determination of Customers and authorised representatives
6. Customers will be determined based on the invoice issued to the Customer. If a Customer operates several venues under the same organisation but is invoiced only to one location and not separately to each venue, the Customer will be treated as one (1) Customer for the purpose of this Promotion, and not as a separate Customer for each venue.
7. By entering on behalf of the Customer, the authorised representative, aged 18 years or over, warrants that they have, before entering, obtained permission from the Customer to enter the Promotion. The Promoter reserves the right to contact the Customer to confirm the authorised representative’s compliance with these Terms and Conditions, including, without limitation, this condition. The Promoter takes no responsibility if the authorised representative has not obtained permission, and may, in its absolute discretion, invalidate that individual or entry made by the individual on behalf of the Entrant.
How to enter and the validation of entries
8. To enter, the Customer or an authorised representative on behalf of a Customer (as the case requires), must:
(a) During the Promotional Period, spend $150 (including GST) or more on “Participating Product(s)”, as detailed below, in one (1) transaction and recorded on one (1) invoice, at its New Zealand distributor following the distributor’s standard purchase requirements and terms of business (Qualifying Purchase), then
(b) During the Entry Period, enter the requested information at www.wattiespantrypayout.com (the Website) and upload a copy of their invoice, recording the Qualifying Purchase, in accordance with the instructions.
Participating Product(s) means:

9. Limit of one entry per Qualifying Purchase. Each Entrant will receive a $30NZD Gift Card Prize (as defined below) for a Qualifying Purchase, subject to a maximum of three (3) $30NZD Gift Card Prizes per Entrant. A total of 400 $30NZD Gift Card Prizes are available under the Promotion. Unlimited entries are permitted to the Major Prize Draw. If any products are returned, the Promoter may, in its absolute discretion, consider these returned products when determining the number of prizes/entries the entrant is entitled to.
10. Entrants must retain proof of purchase for verification purposes. Failure to provide proof of purchase in accordance with the Promoter’s request may deem the Entrant ineligible and forfeit any right to a prize.
11. All entries must be received by the Promoter or its agent during the Entry Period. The Promoter will use the information supplied by Entrants and takes no responsibility if the information supplied is inaccurate, incomplete, illegible or indecipherable.
12. The Promoter including its agent reserves the right, at any time, to verify the validity of entries, entrants (including (as applicable) an individual’s, Entrant’s, or prize recipient’s identity) and reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to disqualify any individual, Entrant or prize recipient whom the Promoter or its agent has reason to believe has breached any of these Terms and Conditions, tampered with the entry process or engaged in any unlawful or other improper misconduct calculated to jeopardise the fair and proper conduct of the Promotion, or otherwise than in accordance with the spirit of the Promotion. Failure by the Promoter to enforce any of its rights at any stage does not constitute a waiver of those rights. The Promoter's legal rights to recover damages or compensation from such an offender are reserved. Errors and omissions may be accepted by the Promoter in its absolute discretion. If there is a dispute about the identity of an individual, authorised representative, prize recipient or Entrant, the Promoter reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to verify or determine their identity.
Prizes
13. The prizes are as follows:
(a) $30NZD digital iChoose Visa Prepaid Cards (each a $30 Gift Card Prize) awarded to each Entrant up to a maximum of three (3) $30NZD Gift Card Prizes per Entrant. The total Prize Pool value of 400 x $30NZD Gift Cards Prizes = $12,000NZD.
(b) $10,000NZD major prize of a digital iChoose Visa Prepaid Card(s) (the Major Prize) comprising two (2) $4,000NZD iChoose Visa Prepaid Digital Gift Cards and one (1) $2,000NZD iChoose Visa Digital Gift Card,
(collectively “Prizes”, and each a “Prize”).
14. During the Promotion, up to four hundred (400) $30 Gift Card Prizes are available to be won. These Prizes will be awarded to the first 400 valid entries received, except in the case where the relevant Entrant has already won three (3) $30 Gift Card Prizes. In the situation where an Entrant is already entitled to three (3) $30 Gift Card Prizes, their subsequent entries will be disregarded for the purpose of determining the remaining winners of the $30 Gift Card Prizes. Winners of these Prizes will be notified by email within 7 business days of the draw date specified in clause 15.
15. The Major Prize draw will take place at 2pm on 18/12/2025. The winner will be notified by email within seven business days of the draw.
16. The first valid entry drawn in the Major Prize draw will win the Major Prize described above in 13(b).
17. All Prizes are digital iChoose Visa Prepaid Card(s) (Digital Gift Cards) and must be activated and used before the specified expiry period (12 months from date of issue). The use of Digital Gift Cards are subject to the standard terms and conditions as specified by the issuer available at www.ichoose.com, including the following: the Digital Gift Cards are issued by Oxygen Global NZ Ltd - NZBN 9429047905931. Digital Gift Cards can only be used where digital Visa Prepaid cards are accepted. Fees and charges may apply depending on the transaction. The Promoter is not responsible for late, lost, expired, mutilated, or damaged Digital Gift Cards or Digital Gift Cards that have been tampered with in any way.
18. The winners, once validated, should allow up to 28 days to receive their prize.
General
19. The total Prize pool value is NZD$22,000, comprising: (a) up to 400 x $30 Gift Card Prizes valued at a total of NZD$12,0000, and (b) the Major Prize valued at NZD$10,000.
20. The unclaimed prize draw, if required, will take place at the same time and place as the original draw on 20/02/2026. The unclaimed prize draw will include any unclaimed Major Prize or other Prizes that were won but not awarded. The winners, if any, will be notified by email within 7 business days of the draw.
21. The Promoter’s decision is final, and no correspondence will be entered into.
22. The Prizes, including any unused portions, are not transferable or exchangeable and cannot be taken as cash, unless permitted otherwise by the Promoter in its sole discretion. The Prizes will be awarded to Entrants (Customers) and not to any authorised representatives entering on behalf of the Entrant.
23. If any Prize (or any part of a Prize is unavailable), the Promoter reserves the right to exchange the Prize (or part thereof) with a Prize of equivalent value and specification.
24. Before receiving the prize, the winner must ensure that a representative is available to take part in selected promotional activities, including a photography and videography session at the winning entrant’s venue and interview(s). Failure to comply with this requirement may result in the winner of the prize forfeiting the prize. The entrant and representative (as the case requires) consents to the Promoter using their company logo and company name, and (as appliable) the representative’s likeness, image and/or voice (including photograph, film and/or recording of the same), in any media, for up to two (2) years and without remuneration, to promote this Promotion (including any outcome) and the products manufactured, distributed and/or supplied by the Promoter. The Promoter will own any intellectual property rights to the materials produced for such promotional purposes.
25. If this Promotion is interfered with in any way or is not capable of being conducted as reasonably anticipated due to any reason beyond the reasonable control of the Promoter (including but not limited to technical difficulties, unauthorised intervention or fraud), the Promoter reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to the fullest extent permitted by law: (a) to disqualify any Customer, Entrant or Prize recipient; or (b) to modify, suspend, terminate or cancel the Promotion, as appropriate.
26. Any cost associated with entering the Promotion or accessing the Website is the Entrant’s responsibility (including any authorised representative entering on behalf of a Customer). The receipt of an entry will be determined based on the time it is received in the promotional database of the Promoter or its agent, not at the time of submission.
Liability
27. Nothing in these Terms and Conditions limits, excludes or modifies or purports to limit, exclude or modify the statutory consumer guarantees as provided under the Consumer Guarantees Act (NZ), where it is illegal to do so, in which case they are limited to the maximum extent permitted by law (Non-Excludable Guarantees). Except for any liability that cannot by law be excluded, including the Non-Excludable Guarantees, the Promoter (including its respective officers, employees and/or agents) excludes all liability (including negligence) for any personal injury; or any loss or damage (including loss of opportunity); whether direct, indirect, special or consequential, arising in any way out of the Promotion.
28. Except for any liability that cannot by law be excluded, including the Non-Excludable Guarantees, the Promoter (including its respective officers, employees and/or agents) exclude all liability (including negligence), for any personal injury; or any loss or damage (including loss of opportunity); whether direct, indirect, special or consequential, arising in any way out of: (a) any technical difficulties or equipment malfunction (whether or not under the Promoter’s control); (b) any theft, unauthorised access or third party interference; (c) any entry, Prize or Prize claim that is late, lost, altered, damaged or misdirected (whether or not after their receipt by the Promoter) due to any reason beyond the reasonable control of the Promoter; (d) any variation in Prize value to that stated in these Terms and Conditions; (e) any tax liability incurred by a winner, entrant or prize recipient; or (f) a Prize.
Privacy
29. The Promoter may collect personal information to conduct the Promotion and may for this purpose, disclose such personal information to third parties, including but not limited to agents, contractors, service providers, prize suppliers and, as required, to New Zealand regulatory authorities. Entry is conditional on individuals providing their personal information including contract details on behalf of the Customer. The Promoter and its agents will collect, store, use and disclose personal information as set out in the Promoter’s privacy policy, which can be viewed at https://www.kraftheinz.com/en-NZ/watties/privacy-policy (opens in a new window)(the Privacy Policy). In addition to any use outlined in the Promoter’s Privacy Policy, the Promoter may, for up to 12 months, unless otherwise advised, use the personal information for promotional, marketing, publicity, research, including sending electronic messages or telephoning individuals. The Privacy Policy also contains information about how individuals may opt out, access, update or correct their personal information, how individuals may complain about a breach of the relevant applicable privacy policy or any other applicable law and how those complaints will be dealt with. The Promoter will collect, store, use and disclose personal information in New Zealand and Australia but may use servers based outside of New Zealand or Australia. All entries and prize claims become the property of the Promoter.
